Update on the Farm

 As for the garden on the farm....well, without students it has been difficult to keep it up. I decided in December to open the garden gate to the chickens. The chickens have had full access to the garden area. They spend their time scratching at the soil looking for bugs and worms. It is also amazing how fast they removed anything green that was still alive.

We also had a break-in along the rear chainlink fence. It appears that nothing was taken from the farm. The culprits used the UUSD property to enter properties alongside ours.
