July 27 Chicken Update

This week we lost two chicks, the best guess was to an Oppossum. Last weekend removed an Oppossum from the chicken pen. I thought it was eating the chicken food. Did not realize that they will eat chickens if given the chance. On two consecutive nights, a chick went missing. Mrs. Hernandez and I added additional security to the chicken coop. ( Fortifying, the corners along the roof.) We have now gone the last two nights without losing additional chick.
