IEUA Grant Work on Garden has begun!!!!

On Wednesday November 28 at 9:00 AM a group of employees from Chino Valley Water District showed up to the Hillside High Garden and began work on the garden!

Scope of work:

1. Install new control valves
2. Install a raised garden bed
3. Install new irrigation to a few of the existing garden beds
4. Installation of a bean trellis.
5. Purchase of new tools for upkeep of the garden!

Rancho Cucamonga class visits the HHS Family Farm

On Thursday November 22 the HHS Family Farm had visitors from Rancho Cucamonga HS. The class visited our garden, visited with our chickens and goat and planted a plant to take home with them.

We Have Guests Today!

Today we were joined by Upland HS students on our farm. The group received a tour of the chicken coop area and garden and then was treated to a pizza party. It was a great learning by all.
